Violet Tungsten Oxide Producing Method
Violet tungsten oxide, short for VTO, is one of tungsten oxides, the appearance is violet fine crystalline powder. It can be produced by accurate control of reduction temperature, reduce ammonium paratungstate or other high valance compounds to generate the product.
Main producing method of violet tungsten oxide includes APT wet hydrogen reduction method, tungstic acid hydrogen reduction method, APT mild reduction method. These method mainly use tungsten compounds such as ammonium paratungstate, tungstic acid or high valance tungsten oxides such as tungsten trioxide(WO3) as raw material, by hydrogen reduction to obtain violet tungsten oxide.
